Our Disabilities
We navigate the world with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS), Bipolar 2, CPTSD, and acute digestive dysregulation. Because DID means we experience life as a team rather than a single individual, we use plural pronouns (we/our/us).
Forged in Survival
Our qualifications are our lived experiences. Over the last decade, we have survived:
Medical Trauma: Four surgeries, multiple complications, and over three years spent entirely in surgical recovery.
Psychiatric Crisis: Surviving suicidality, crisis housing, and years of intensive psychiatric hospitalization and outpatient programs.
Systemic Gaslighting: Navigating life-altering, bed-bound digestive issues that specialists could confirm, but neither diagnose nor treat.
Reclaiming Autonomy
We are now a small business owner. Where the medical system hit a wall, we built our own path. We engineered the diet that finally healed our gut. We directed our own physical rehabilitation. We went from being completely bedridden and requiring 30 hours of psychiatric care a week, to hiking, carrying heavy loads, teaching conditioning classes and creating BodyMind Autonomy!
